Find Your Part

Theatre takes a lot of people.

A production may have actors under the lights, but there are dozens of people working behind the scenes to make those moments possible. At No Small Parts, we want to give people the opportunity to discover the part of theatre that is right for them—whether that means performing, building, designing, organizing, volunteering, or simply helping wherever you’re needed.

You don't need years of experience to get involved, and you don't have to know exactly what you want to do. If you're interested in theatre, there's a place for you here. Bring your interests, your creativity, and your willingness to learn. We'll help you find the rest.

Perform

Create

Take the stage.

For those who love performing, No Small Parts offers opportunities to audition for productions and bring characters and stories to life.

Whether you've been performing for years or you've never auditioned before, you're welcome to take a chance on yourself. We're interested in creating opportunities for performers of different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.

Build the world around the story.

The stage doesn't come together by itself. Costumes, props, sets, lighting, sound, makeup, hair, and countless other creative elements help turn a script into a production.

If you like making things, designing, problem-solving, working with your hands, or bringing an idea to life, there may be a place for you behind the scenes.

Work Behind the Scenes

Volunteer

The show can't happen without the people behind it.

There are plenty of ways to contribute without ever stepping into the spotlight. Production crews, stage managers, technicians, run crew, backstage volunteers, and other team members keep everything moving once the curtain goes up.

You don't have to be an expert. Many theatre skills are learned by doing, and we're excited to help people discover something new.

Sometimes the most important part is simply showing up.

From helping at events and fundraisers to assisting with productions, community outreach, front-of-house, and everything in between, volunteers make a tremendous difference.

If you have a little time and want to support local theatre, we'd love to have you involved.

Join the Community

Not ready to jump into a production? That's okay.

Getting involved doesn't have to start with an audition or a commitment to a show. Come to an event, attend a workshop, meet the people behind No Small Parts, follow along with what we're doing, or simply come see a production.

Theatre is a community before it's a performance, and we'd love for you to be part of ours.

Not Sure where you fit?

That's kind of the point.

You don't have to arrive knowing exactly what your “part” is. Maybe you have experience with theatre. Maybe you have a skill you don't realize could be useful. Maybe you just want to try something you've never done before.

Tell us what you're interested in, what you'd like to learn, or even just “I want to help, but I'm not sure how" in the form below. We'll figure it out together.
